Lynne Fitzhugh, Ph.D., CALT  Lynne Fitzhugh received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University with a concentration in learning disabilities. She is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and received her Clinical Teaching Competency in Academic Language Therapy from Southern Methodist University. Lynne is an expert in dyslexia and related learning disabilities and has been a featured speaker at both local and national conferences. Her publications include various articles on dyslexia, writing disabilities, teacher preparation, and education issues. Gisi, Ph.D., N.C.S.P.  Theresa M. Gisi is a Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She received her B.A. in Neuroscience and M.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Missouri Health Sciences Center in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Gisi has 15 years of experience assessing and treating neurocognitive disorders such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, a variety of genetic disorders, pervasive developmental disorders (Autism and Asperger's Disorder) and toxic exposure. She has worked in a range of settings including inpatient and outpatient facilities, private practice, and neuropsychology clinics. Dr. Gisi also has a specialty in school psychology with expertise in special education, Individual Educational Programs (IEP), Functional Behavior Assessments, and the development of and implementation of Behavioral Support Plans. Dr. Gisi provides services for children and adults ages 3 and up. Raye Lynne Dippel, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist  Raye Lynne Dippel is a licensed psychologist. She obtained her doctorate in both Lifespan Developmental Psychology and Clinical Psychology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She has over twenty years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and has served as an evaluator and consultant in several major school districts. Raye Lynne has specialized in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults who have attention deficit disorders or learning disabilities, and has a unique understanding of attention deficit disorders and dyslexia: she and her three sons have attention deficit disorders and dyslexia and have all learned to thrive despite these disabilities. Raye Lynne has edited two books: Caring for the Alzheimer Patient: A Practical Guide and Caring for the Parkinson Patient: A Practical Guide, both which have been in print over ten years. She has published numerous research articles and book chapters. Patricia Daily, CALT  Patricia Daily received her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Leadership from the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse. Patricia is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and received her Clinical Teaching Competency from The Dyslexia Training Center at the Center for Youth and Families in Little Rock, Arkansas. Patricia has a mother’s heart for dyslexic children, as two of her own children and her husband have dyslexia. She and her husband speak nationally for FamilyLife Weekend to Remember, Marriage Conferences. She has been in practice as an Academic Language Therapist since 1993. She spent eight years teaching in the public schools of several states. She has taught students with varying disabilities such as learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Jill pursued training in multisensory strategies for teaching her students to read, leading her to become certified as an Associate Academic Language Teacher. She is now a Reading Intervention Specialist with The Dyslexia Center.

Anna Fitzhugh, B.A., AALT  Anna Fitzhugh graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In the past, she has worked with students with special needs on cognition and learning strategies. Currently, Anna is a Reading Intervention Specialist at the Dyslexia Center part-time and is pursuing her Master's in Clincal Psychology. Academic Language Therapy Association International Dyslexia Association Reading Intervention Specialist Teresa Hinote, M.Ed., CALT, Qualified Instructor Ms. Hinote is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Qualified Instructor at the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Hinote comes from Dallas to direct training of our Dyslexia Specialist Program. A certified teacher with 30 years’ experience, Ms. Hinote worked with Southern Methodist University to design the Dyslexia Teacher Training program.
